Osimhen Banned For Juventus Clash, Fined 5,000 Euros

Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli, will miss their Serie A match against Juventus.

Because he was sent off against Venezia on Sunday, the Super Eagles player has been issued a two-game suspension.

In the 23rd minute, Osimhen was sent off for shoving Daan Heymans as a corner was sent into the area.

Napoli had thought he would simply miss the game against Genoa this weekend, believing the incident to be non-violent.

However, the Serie A disciplinary committee ruled it to be aggressive conduct, and he was suspended for two games as a result.

In addition, Osimhen was fined 5000 euros.

He will miss this week’s match against Genoa and the crucial match against Juventus following the international break next month.

Napoli, though, plans to appeal, according to Di Marzio.
