Naija360

Family Safety & Community Emergency Response

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Naija360 mobile application and related services (the “Service”), operated by NextNow Group. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

IMPORTANT — Naija360 is not a replacement for official emergency services. Naija360 is a community safety-coordination tool. It does not replace the official emergency services. In a life-threatening emergency you should always also contact the official emergency number (112 or 199 in Nigeria). We do not guarantee that any responder, agency or other user will see, accept, or act on any alert, or the time in which they may do so.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

2. What the Service does

Naija360 lets you raise SOS alerts and community-safety reports, share your location during an incident, receive safety broadcasts, and — for approved responders — receive and coordinate responses. Availability depends on factors outside our control, including your device, network coverage, and responder availability.

3. Acceptable use

4. Responders

Responder accounts are granted only to verified and approved persons or organisations. Responders must act lawfully, professionally, and only use incident data to coordinate a response. Access may be revoked at any time.

5. Location and notifications

To provide the Service you consent to Naija360 collecting your location during an SOS or active incident, and to sending you push notifications and safety messages. You can manage permissions in your device settings, but disabling location or notifications will limit safety features.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the reports, photos and information you submit. You grant Naija360 a licence to use that content to operate the Service, coordinate responses, and keep safety records. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alerts will always be delivered or acted upon.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naija360 and NextNow Group are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from delayed, failed, or non-response to an alert, network or device failures, or the acts or omissions of responders, other users, or third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the Service, including for false alarms or abuse. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — see Account Deletion.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
